Tutti Frutti Cake

Christmas is round the corner and this is a time when the kitchen is scented with aromas of cakes, biscuits, tarts, pies and all those savories that triggers our sweet tooth. One such favorite holiday recipe is ‘Tutti Frutti Cake’. I have omitted eggs from this recipe so that even vegetarians can enjoy this cake.

Ingredients-

▫ ¾ cup milk
▫ ¾ cup powdered sugar
▫ 1 tsp vanilla extract
▫ ½ cup oil
▫ 1½ cup / plain flour
▫ ¼ tsp baking soda
▫ 1 tsp baking powder
▫ ¼ cup water
▫ 1/2 cup tutti frutti

Method –

In a large bowl, mix oil and powdered sugar. Add milk and vanilla essence. Add maida, baking powder, baking soda and mix. Add water and fold lightly. Add tutti frutti and mix again. Transfer the batter into a greased cake mould. Top with some tutti frutti. Bake at 180 degrees celsius for 30-35 minutes.
